The next teen star

INTRODUCTION

Adolescence is a time of self-discovery and identity formation, when young people begin to establish a sense of who they are, what they believe in, and where they fit in the world. This makes adolescence a sensitive developmental window, characterized by significant opportunities. The better we help this young ones find natural talents, the more they can draw from them to search for and identify opportunities that will give them the chance to do what they do best every day, so they can then turn their raw talents into matured strengths and live up to their full potential....thus the creation of the TEEN SINGING COMPETITION "THE NEXT TEEN STAR".

THE PROJECT

The Next Teen Star is created mainly to mainly to encourage teenagers to learn to express their feelings and ideas and ideas through music. The first stage is the auditions where all the contestants are expected to send 2-3 minutes video entries of their songs. Second stage, the videos would be scrutinized by seasoned music acts, and winners selected.This winners will undergo training for the allocated period of time and would subsequently be given an opportunity to record their songs in a recording studio which would be sponsored by the organizers of " The Next Teen Star"

MISSION STATEMENT

We promote and develop music in a local, national and international context, driving excellence, community and audience engagement, and personal fulfilment for teenagers through singing.

VISION

To inspire by our work a love and appreciation for singing and healthy competitive spirit in present and future generations.

OBJECTIVES

-To discover talented young singers and help them get started in careers where they can become professionals singers, earn a living, or maybe even become stars.
-To provide justification for their musical accomplishments, creativity, willingness to learn, their ability to set short & long-term goals, and a commitment to achieving difficult tasks
- Successful singing is important because it builds self-confidence, promotes self-esteem, always engages the emotions, promotes social inclusion, supports social skill development, and enables young people of different ages and abilities to come together successfully to create something special in the arts. This is one of the our core objectives.
- To provide a platform for teenagers to interact with their peers, helping them develop social skills such as teamwork, empathy, and cooperation.

-Encourage healthy competition among the teenagers that would bring out the very best in each other.

CONCLUSION

Improvising with music can help a child to get in touch with and/or express a feeling he or she may be experiencing at the time. whether that may be happy, sad, scared, or mad. The musical instruments can be 'gates' for their emotions and playing them or singing to them allows their emotions to come throughWe hope that this becomes a successful yearly event that teenagers and their families would look foward to.
